What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the purchasing process: Create and manage purchase orders, monitor shipments, and work directly with suppliers across the U.S. and Canada.
- Keep us stocked and ready: Review inventory levels, anticipate needs, and balance service levels with smart investment.
- Be the go-to problem solver: Tackle order discrepancies, manage special requests, and ensure invoices, pricing, and deliveries line up perfectly.
- Build relationships that matter: Partner with suppliers, sales reps, and internal teams to keep communication flowing and ensure smooth operations.
- Turn data into insight: Prepare reports and analyze trends to help guide purchasing decisions and supplier performance.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, forecasting, or inventory planning.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and sourcing best practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills - you know how to get things done while keeping relationships positive.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (bonus points if you’ve used Microsoft Great Plains).
- A team player who can adapt quickly and juggle multiple priorities.
