Maintenance Technician – Electronics Troubleshooting

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electronic troubleshooting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and systems. This role is essential in ensuring operational efficiency as we transition our company into the implementation of automation for our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electronic systems and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic issues in machinery, equipment, and systems, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Repair Work: Conduct repairs on a variety of equipment, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and control systems.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate repairs and improve system performance.

  • Upgrades and Modifications: Assist in the installation and upgrading of new electronic equipment and systems, providing technical support and training as needed.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, with a strong focus on electronic troubleshooting.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading electrical schematics, using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electronic issues.

  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation.

  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and shift rotation as needed.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 60 lbs).

  • Capability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.

  • Willingness to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
